The Great Western Weekend in Cornwall 27-29 October 2006 We celebrated the end of summer with a most enjoyable weekend in Cornwall. Most of us travelled down to our comfortable, cliff-top hotel in Mevagissey on Friday and the remainder arrived on Saturday. Following a hearty breakfast on Saturday we set off to explore the county. Some travelled far but others contented themselves sampling the delights of the harbour town, pasties and pints of the local ales. In the evening we were delighted to be joined for dinner by our Cornish friends Wendy and David, following which we adjourned to the lounge and for drinks, conversation and joviality.    "I don't know what this is all about" Post-prandial relaxation
